What is an Experience?
Experiences are pre-planned, pre-booked events, tours, or outings that provide our guests with a unique way to experience Lake Anna. Experiences are run and managed by the Host and allow you to unplug and not have to worry about coordinating things. Just sit back and relax and enjoy lake life.
Available Experiences
Lake Anna Boat Trips
Meet the Hosts on the boat dock behind the residence and get ready to experience Lake Anna like we do. Go tubing, swimming, park and relax at the Islands, stop for lunch at one of the lakeside restaurants/breweries, or simply relax while your Hosts drive you around the Lake on their 23-foot Tritoon Starcraft boat that seats 8-10 people comfortably. The Host provides you with water, sodas, coolers, snacks, blankets (if cold), and all of the gear to keep you safe and sound. Children 12 years old and under are required to wear a life jacket.

Sunset Cruise
Probably one of the Host's most favorite times on Lake Anna. Enjoy a 2-hour cruise that starts from our dock an hour before dusk and returns you to the dock an hour after sunset (or earlier if temperature is cold). You'll get to experience beautiful sunsets and see Lake Anna completely differently than you would during the day. Cruise includes beer, wine, water, sodas, music, and a charcuterie board for 4.

JB's Breakfast on the Lake
No cooking, no cleaning. Let the Hosts spoil you with a Virginia southern breakfast that will fill you up for a day experiencing all that Lake Anna has to offer. Enjoy the Host's famous sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage, bacon, country ham, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, toast, juice, coffee, and anything else we can get from our garden and seasonal pickings. Breakfast menu may vary based on availability.

Bonfire and S'mores
Let the Host build you a bonfire in the backyard and make homemade s'mores with the family. Warm up around the fire, tell ghost stories, or just enjoy the ambiance. We will bring all the equipment and fixings and get things started so you can enjoy the Experience. Book it for any time of the day or book it just for yourself, no one is judging you!

Availability: Anytime ($25.00 per/kit, feeds 4-6 people)
Country Shrimp and Crab Leg Boil
Shrimp, crab legs, sausage, corn, and potato's cooked on a low boil and delivered to your patio with all the fixings. After it's done cooking we will bring a steaming pot of "OMG that smells good" down to your patio and dump it out on a table for you to devour. You won't have to do anything but enjoy.

Booking an Experience

You must be a confirmed Guest staying with us to book an Experience.

Experiences can be booked after a Guest has been accepted by the Host.

Booking an Experience is dependent on the Hosts availability. For the greatest availability, Guests should book an Experience 7 days prior to arrival.

For boating Experiences, Guests under the age of 12 are required by law to wear a life vest at all times.

Experiences must be paid for in advance.

Boating Experiences are best from May - October where the temperature of the water is warm.

Should the Host have to cancel an Experience due to inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, Guest will be refunded 100%.

Guests may cancel an Experience 24 hours prior to the event for a full refund. After that, Guests will not receive a refund.
